Background and role in Ohio Bobcat Club

Collins arrives in Athens after serving as an intern for the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics. During his time at NACDA, he assisted with the oversight of Board of Directors, Officers and membership for the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC), Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA), Division 2 Conference Commissioner’s Association (D2 CCA) and the National Association of Athletic Ticketing and Sales Operations (NAATSO).

Prior to his time at NACDA, Collins served as the graduate assistant for athletic communications & operations/student intern at his alma mater, Georgian Court University in Lakewood, N.J.

Collins is a two-time graduate of Georgian Court, earning his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in sport management in 2015 and his master’s of business administration in ’17. He competed in track & field with the Lions, serving as a three-year team captain. Among the honors Collins received were United State Track & Field/Cross Country Association All-Academic Team (2016) selection, College Sports Information Directors of America/Capital One Academic All-District First Team (2015) selection, D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards (2014-15, 2015-16) honoree and East Coast Conference Indoor Track & Field Co-Scholar Athlete of the Year (2014). He also participated in the NCAA Career in Sports Forum (2014) and the NCAA Emerging Leader Seminar (2016, ’18).
