Background and role in Ohio Bobcat Club

Austin attended the University of Kentucky (UK) for his undergraduate studies where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration with majors in Finance, Marketing, and Business Management. During his time as an undergraduate, Austin served as the Student Government Association President and a voting member on the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees. His first fundraising experience occurred during his time as the Corporate Relations Chair for DanceBlue where he was responsible for soliciting major gifts from individuals and corporations for pediatric cancer research, patient care, support staff, and clinical capital projects.

Upon graduation, Austin assisted with finance and business operations in UK’s Executive Vice President for Finance & Administration’s Office and fundraising in UK’s Office of Development. During this time, he earned a Graduate Certificate in Public Financial Management from the Martin School of Public Administration. In June 2018, Austin earned his Master of Business Administration and is pursuing his Masters in Sports Administration, with an expected completion date of May 2019.

Austin is originally from Oldham County, Kentucky a suburb of Louisville, Kentucky.

I am grateful for the opportunity to reach out to alumni and friends of Ohio University. The Bobcat Family is something that is truly special and it is a blessing to support student-athletes, the athletic department, and university as a whole.
